A hard truth, but still fair, at least there's improvement.
I am not working hard, it's more than hard. Public holiday was good for me for when Kiwi was practicing his kicks in his own space I could have my daily practice with three cameras which were set at different angles. I like watching my dancing, a particular interest is to examine my leg actions because the coach always complains about my legs- although I have beautiful legs, I don't use them beautifully in dancing. Within the first 10 seconds of my first practicing video, I spotted a thing that ruined my dance. I then did the same figure tons of times, tried to mind the locking knees at the moment I pivoted.
It felt like ages, but I later learned that was only 30 minute's time, to repeat doing the same figures over and over again. Until my entire body started to ache, I began to get a clip with perfect legs; and once I got it right, I got smoother and smoother afterwards. I believe it was the thrill that drove me to keep on for the rest of the afternoon. So by the evening, the sore muscles finally complained. Dancing is not only an exercise for legs, torso involvement is unbelievably great, arms are needed too if you want to be watchable, well, the result of a whole afternoon's work was a sore body.
This particular action I had been forcing myself to do is quite unnatural so it inevitably makes me uncomfortable, and because it's unnatural, it takes time to get used to it. But my problem is I don't have enough time! If I want to get that honour, all I can do now is to practice, practice, practice and more practices.
Well, to sum up, this afternoon was a productive one- I spent it whole to refine an action which only consumes a second in a real dance.
