Seriously Dancing

If you know Lens Goodman, you know 'UNICORN & FLEA'.

Dancing, to me, is never random grinding and wiggling; it means to me a combination of forms and expression. And it means a lot of hard work. Club dancing could be fun but that doesn't charm. Working hard all the way in order to be a top dancer would not be fun for most people- but it IS the thing for me. It feels good to know that still there are people sharing this, I can't tell how lucky I am to have all the serious dancers here.

A lot of people dance, but few can dance well. Among those a lot of normal dancers, most are girls, but only a handful of them can be top dancers. I love to see, and be one of the, people working hard to get things done because I think they charm. It is tempting to practice until you hit perfect, by then I can see the dancer glow.

To the outsider, it is in fact quite weird to see us sweating hard for hours to repeat doing the same basic footwork. Well think it a mere aerobic exercise, dancing not only burns fat, it also creates endorphin, which calms the mind and produces the feeling of well-being; think it the artsiest way to get yourself expressed and be conveyed; think it a step to get yourself known by presenting the most affecting dance; think it a way to unify your body and mind...

Dancing is just awesome.
