Watching dance competitions and dance programmes is very enjoyable.
Watching world class competitions, like the Blackpool, is very enjoyable. Not only the competitors demonstrate an amazingly grateful technique, but also the spectacularly creative routine and wonderfully precise musicality.
Watching dance programmes, especially those require professionals pair up with amateur dance lovers, is also very enjoyable. First the professionals who are able to present on air are the toppest choreographers and dancers.
You know, a good dancer may not necessarily mean a good choreographer. More importantly, those in the shows those professionals need to dance their pieces with popstars or singers.
Pop singers maybe good at dancing too but some actors/actresses are with two feet! The programme records the process how the two-feet grow into happy-feet.
Very nice indeed.
From how they create, re-create, practise their dance amalgamation, I learn how to tailor the most suitable routine for people who are not used to dancing!
You know, this is survival skill for a dance teacher!
