It is known that music
exposure to babies is beneficial, it is also known that baby gym will
too bring advantages to them. Now if there is something you can merge
the two into one, I believe it will be wonderful. And if this is
going to involve not only the babies but also the parents can take
part in, wouldn't it be amazing?
Right after a
dance-loving mom giving birth to baby, the new mom gets extra pounds
in belly but she can no longer gives attention to herself as she is
too busy buzzing around the infant. She is stressed, she is
depressed, she is not only losing the look but also losing the
self-esteem. I always wonder why dancing ladies can't keep on dancing
after they have babies. Dancing is a good exercise which is also good
for kids, why can't dancing be good to babies too?

So I kept on dancing
with my boy in his cosy sling until he got a bit heavy for me. Well,
it seemed that there was only me doing dance workout with my baby. As
a dance instructor, I already have dance classes for kids, another
parents/kids dance class will be launched this summer. However, the
most I want to do is to expand it to parents/babies. I believe this
is beneficial to both the mom and the baby, I did it myself, and I
felt glad that I did it, so I want to share this joyful experience
with all the dancing moms.
In the past years, I
have been putting effort in dragging more parents onto the floor, and
I have two conclusion drawn from what I have observed. Some parents
do not mind to spend time just sit aside and watch, some parents
prefer to join a class of their own partnering with another grown-up
either man or woman. Well, just none say yes to partnering with a
significantly shorter and less experienced child even though they are
also beginners themselves. With much effort, I finally can launch my
parents/kids dance, I just wonder when can I achieve my ultimate baby
mission.
