Personal notes about SWING (part 1) - from Big Band Swing to Charleston

Swing & Charleston

**This is my personal notes to the Book "Swing Dance by Scout Cupit", summarizing the useful bit for me only

BIG BAND SWING
In the late 1920, big band's started to emerge, with larger percussion, brass and woodwind sections- and bigger bands meant of bigger sound. Some of the best bands played a mixture of arranged and improvised music. Strong rhythm sections played four to the bar, giving the music a four-count feel.
