Thanks to the highly advanced technique, we have stepped into the informative era.
Staying in this amazing era, we have been able to access numerous resources. Honestly speaking, learning online have been the easier ever.
And we can find tons of ‘learning materials’ on YouTube (or any other social media platform), just open the browser and input ‘How to’, and you will get an ever-ending list.
Undoubtedly this is a good news to humble learners.
And then we all face a problem.
After watching plenty of how-to video clips, your brain tells you ‘😊 Got it!’
However, your feet yell ‘Jeez Mission impossible’ and they are already tangled.
From this little story, we can easily come to a conclusion, that muscle memory is extremely important!
Your brain have the knowledge, but without the technique in the body, all you can do is to read and recite the textbook (and work yourselves a scholarship with a lot of papers 😂).
No, that's not my point. My point is even you are a complete beginner with two left feet, by working hard enough to the dummy guide, you can still perform like trained feet.
But of course, before successfully becoming a real dancer, you have to persuade yourself to overcome tons of failures. I think this is the hardest part, as it would be pretty depressing to experience all the screw-ups, and it takes a lot of disciplines to keep the passion.
